Bohemian Rhapsody wins at Golden Globes.
Bohemian Rhapsody and Rami Malek won best film and Actor for Comedy /Musical at the Golden globes, I loved the movie and thought Malek was brilliant too.

Olivia Colman also won for her portrayal of Queen Anne Christian Bale won too. So What do you think?.

Judging by the Golden Globes, I think the movie industry is obsessed by films about arse-bandits and lezzas.

I thought the bloke who played Brian May was really good. I loved the film , it didn't really teach me anything as Ive followed Queen from 1974, their album music was excellent. Can't help feeling that the critics of the film that found it poor were probably anti Freddie Mercury. Twats.

It was an enjoyable piece of entertainment and the bloke who played Freddie was excellent but don’t believe it was Best Film.
And that’s before seeing the other nominations.

Script was poor and lots of made up stuff and half truths.
Freddie gets all upset at John Reid for suggesting a solo album and sacks him as manager in the back of limo and chucks him out.
Dramatic!

Actually John Reid also managed Elton John and the band thought he didn’t have enough time to manage them too so paid out his contract.
Not so dramatic!

Freddie didn’t find out he had AIDS until AFTER LiveAid either.

Interesting to learn that none of the other members of Queen (co-producers?) didn’t take any drugs or misbehave at all. It was all poor dead Freddie

Re: Bohemian Rhapsody wins at Golden Globes.
I was a Queen fan throughout the Freddie years, and am aware of much/most of their history. I was at one of the epic Wembley gigs in '86.

Frankly I'm not really interested in a film now. I know what I know and that's enough. Don't really need to see it played out on screen.

I'm sure it's very well done, but having seen lots of documentaries on them, I think I've had enough now...

Here's a "boxset" of FACTUAL errors Sven.

That's not the point, really, and I don't think that's critics problem with it either. I found it ludicrously mawkish. Each to their own. I guess hagiography was the obvious outcome given its troubled filming. Fluff.

....also Freddie didn’t go solo until after Live Aid.
However, changing the storyline didn’t put me off the film - I thought it was well constructed in the run up to Wembley, which Malek performed pretty much spot-on.

Both Globes - well deserved IMO

Actually, talking of frontmen, I'd go and see a feature film bio about Ian Dury.

Not this though.
